Remember the days of receiving a letter or a card in the mail? I do and it was so much fun! Let’s bring back the art of letter writing by creating a simple, yet beautiful card and mail it to a loved one or a friend.
The Forever Fern Stamp Set has great detailed images, several sentiments with beautiful fonts and coordinates with the Forever Flourishing Dies. Pair either of these with other stamp sets to broaden the versatility.
To make this card:
Start with a card base of Misty Moonlight cardstock 4 1/4” x 11” score at 5 1/2”.
Adhere a layering piece of Gorgeous Grape 4” x 5 1/4” to the front of the base.
Take a piece of Basic White cardstock 3 3/4” x 5”, stamp the images using Misty Moonlight, Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape inks. Use Daffodil Delight ink for the splatters.
Stamp the sentiment using Granny Apple Green ink on Basic White cardstock. Punch out the image using the Double Oval Punch. Punch the scalloped oval out of Granny Apple Green cardstock. Adhere the sentiment to the scalloped oval.
Next wrap a piece of Glittered Organdy Ribbon onto the stamped piece of Basic White and create a knot, position as desired.
Adhere the stamped image layer to the card front. Use dimensionals to pop up the sentiment, positioning it so it covers the overlapping stems of the images. Add rhinestones in the rule of 3 or 5 if desired.
