Friday Fun Fold – Featuring the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper

Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper

My dear friend and fellow demo Colleen Light – Cardsbycoco.com, featured this fabulous fun fold in her stamp with me video and I loved it so much I had to make one too!

To make this card

Card base of Blackberry Bliss cardstock 5 1/2” x 6 1/2” score at 2 1/4” on the 6 1/2” side. Take a second piece of Blackberry Bliss 3 1/2” x 3 1/2” score at 3/4”, burnish all of the score lines.

Next I chose a piece of Fine Art Floral DSP that coordinates perfectly with the Blackberry Bliss cardstock, 2” x 5 1/4” (this is a vertical card so be sure of the pattern direction when cutting) and a second piece 3 1/4” x 2 1/2”.

Adhere the larger piece of DSP to the outside of the 2 1/4” flap. Then take the second piece of DSP, using the opposite side pattern and where it to the smaller piece of cardstock with the 3/4” score on the right hand side. Center this piece on the card base with the 3/4” wrapping around the right edge, adhere with tear & tape.

Adhere the smaller piece to the right side of the card base
This is how the 3/4” flap sits on the card base

Then I chose the second rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and cut out using Blackberry Bliss cardstock. I used the third die to cut a piece of Basic White cardstock with the sentiment, from Art Gallery Stamp Set, stamped in blackberry Bliss Ink and layered it on the BB die cut. I stamped the small floral image in Blackberry Bliss, stamping off fist. I added a piece of Basic White cardstock 4” x 5 1/4” to the inside of the card, stamping again with Blackberry Bliss Ink.

I adhered the sentiment piece with dimensionals, centered left on the large flap, be sure the dimensionals are only adhered to the part that is on the left flap. The smaller flap on the right will tuck behind the sentiment label.

For the final touches I added Wink of Stella yo my stamped floral image as well as the DSP flowers and rhinestones scattered for that bling!

I hope you give this fun fold a try! As always, all supplies used can be found at my online store: https://www.stampinup.com?demoid=2189212

Happy crafting!
