The Art Gallery Bundle – Not Just For Mother’s Day

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day, I was working and intended to finish up this blog post of the card I created for my mom on my lunch break, but a crazy day left no time so here it is! 😬 #nurselife.

Today’s card features the Art Gallery Bundle which I used to create this beautiful Mother’s Day card for my mom. The Art Gallery Stamp Set is photopolymer and is a two step stamp process and has a beautiful printed block font with a great collection of sentiments for most occasions. I used the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder to create the textured background.

The Art Gallery Bundle

To make the card:

For the card base I used Granny Apple Green Cardstock 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored and folded at 4 1/4”. Next I used a piece of Basic White Cardstock 3 3/4” x 5” and created the texture using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to the card front using liquid adhesive.

Next I stamped the large flower head in Flirty Flamingo Ink and the second step stamp overlay again in Flirty Flamingo Ink, thus creating a darker version of the ink, adding depth to the image. Next I stamped the stem and leaves in Granny Apple Green ink. I used the Floral Gallery Dies to die cut the stamped images out. Then I used liquid adhesive to attach the flower head to the stem at the angle I desired, and applied dimensionals to the flower head and stem, placing onto the card front in the upper left, angled to draw the eye from top to the bottom right for the placement of the sentiment.

For the sentiment I used the Happy Mother’s Day from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set in Granny Apple Green Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Unfortunately the punch I used is now retired but either the Label Me lovely or Everyday Label Punch would create the same effect. I punched a second label from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, cut it down the center, horizontally and adhered the pieces to the back of the sentiment piece creating the colored background. I attached the sentiment to the card front with dimensionals.

The finishing touches are Wink of Stella glitter pen to the highlighted areas on the petals and leaves, 5 Opal Rounds Embellishments applied in random. I stamped a smaller flower head inside the card and also stamped an image on the envelope.

All of the items used can be purchased from my online store using my personal link: https://www.stampinup.com?demoid=2189212

As always, I am happy to help, send me a message, call or text.

Happy crafting,

Tammy ❤️
