In The Pines

Do you ever have something speak to your heart? For me, the In The Pines Bundle and Evergreen 3D Embossing Folder did just that. We are an outdoors family, my husband is a fourth generation logger and living on the edge of the woods in SW Washington State, I just knew as soon as I saw this set I had to have it.

My card inspiration came from Ronda Wade and I put my spin on it with a little (okay a lot!) of Wink of Stella to add that sparkle factor.

Card Recipe:

Crumbcake card stock card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″

Crumbcake card stock 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″

Crumbcake card stock scrap at least 5 3/8″ long

Early Espresso Ink

Old Olive Ink

Wink of Stella

Emboss the 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Crumbcake using the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to the card base.

Using the 2 stamp technique stamp the medium tree image onto the scrap Crumbcake using Early Espresso Ink and the fill in image with Old Olive Ink.

Using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Pine Woods Dies, die cut your stamped tree image and use the snow bank die along the 5 3/8″ edge.

Use dimensionals to make the 3D effect adhering the tree and the snow bank over the top of the embossed image. Liberally paint Wink of Stella onto the embossed trees abc the snow bank and lightly on the stamped tree. Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso.

All items can be purchased from my online store, or contact me and I am happy to help! When creating your shopping profile be sure that I am listed as your demonstrator.
